The problem

A list of projects does not explain how growth will work.

New channels, added capacity, and more complex products place different demands on teams. A blueprint makes those demands explicit and connects the desired operating model to achievable initiatives.

This may be your starting point if…

  • Plans contain projects but little agreement on the future way of working.
  • Dependencies make investment priorities difficult to sequence.
  • Teams need a shared basis for choosing what to build next.
What's included

What we work toward together

Scope is agreed around your priorities, systems, and team. The engagement can include:

A target operating model describing work, ownership, and decision responsibilities.

A capability map connecting business goals to required improvements.

A dependency-based roadmap with phased initiatives and decision gates.

An investment narrative with assumptions, measures, and accountable owners.

How it works

How the engagement works

Layer One combines manufacturing and distribution experience with assessments, advisory services, engineering, training, and ongoing improvement. We build on existing systems and proven capabilities, including Commergenix where it fits the work. Your team helps shape the approach and owns the decisions that affect the business.

FAQ

Questions before you begin

How does this relate to OFA?

OFA identifies friction in the current organization. The blueprint uses those findings or equivalent evidence to define the future approach and delivery sequence.

Does this include implementation?

The blueprint provides direction and planning outputs. Delivery initiatives are scoped from the roadmap.

How do we agree the scope and commitment?

We begin with a conversation about the problem, the people involved, and the information available. We then agree deliverables, responsibilities, timing, and commercial terms. The work can be scoped independently or within an ongoing Layer One partnership.
