Overview
After redeveloping the Kohler Co. corporate site, Layer One needed a way to tell almost 140 years of Kohler's rich American history as a pioneer in the kitchen and bath, furniture and tile, engines, generators and resort industries.
Challenge
Kohler’s history is expansive and intricate—from basically inventing the bathtub in 1873 to hosting the 86th PGA Championships at Whistling Straits in 2004 and beyond, we found a way to tell the story through this rich interactive timeline.
Solution
Site features include screen-grab navigation, After Effects motion graphics and over 150 milestones and 500 images.
