Inside Sales - New Business Development


Do you love the thrill of the hunt?  

Responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads and generating new sales opportunities in support of the company growth objectives.  We are seeking an assertive, highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter that is able to identify, develop and qualify new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, target account lists, trade shows, industry events and individual prospecting activities.


To be considered, a candidate for the Business Developer position should have

  • Research B2B companies to identify and prioritize key target prospects that meet Layer One Media’s target criteria
  • Make cold calls into target prospects and navigate the organization to further identify key decision makers and influencers
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to go after target accounts and prospects
  • Follow up marketing campaigns with prospecting calls to establish relationships, further navigate the target organization and generate leads that will become qualified opportunities
  • Diligently follow up on inbound marketing leads
  • Develop a good understanding of the sales and marketing problems and challenges where Layer One Media offerings can be of benefit to our target customers.
  • Use solutions selling techniques to ask relevant questions during prospecting and follow up to inbound leads 
  • Work closely with the Account Executives to ensure a smooth hand over of all qualified opportunities generated by inside sales and marketing activities
